Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

Arrive at the Gandhi International Airport and check into your hotel. Spend a relaxing morning recovering from your jet lag and refreshing before you can start exploring the city.

Afternoon

You can spend your afternoon in the capital by exploring iconic landmarks like India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace), and Humayun’s Tomb. 

Evening 

Spend the evening at Connaught Palace, Delhi’s colonial-era shopping hub, which is truly one of a kind.

Day 2: Old Delhi Exploration

There is a chaotic beauty in Old Delhi. The heritage and food that you get here are something that you will not get anywhere else in the country. 

Morning

Have breakfast at a local breakfast shop and head over to the largest mosque in India, Jama Masjid. After that, you can take a local rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, where you can treat yourself to some delicious local treats like fresh jalebis, parathas, and chaat. 

Afternoon

In the afternoon, visit the Red Fort. This Mughal-era landmark is an architectural marvel and a representation of the Mughals’ exquisite architectural taste. 

Evening

Raj Ghat is a great place to end your evening. It is a peaceful memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. You can also attend the evening show at the Red Fort.

Old Delhi Fort

Day 3: Delhi to Agra

After exploring Delhi, head over to Agra. This is the city of some of the world’s stunning architectural wonders. 

Morning

Leave for Agra as soon as possible. It is a four-hour drive from Delhi to Agra. Stop by Sikandra, the tomb of Mughal Emperor Akbar, which is located on the route. 

Afternoon

After checking into the hotel, head over to the Agra Fort. This is a stunning world heritage site that represents exceptional Mughal artistry. 

Evening

Reserve your evening to witness the glorious Taj Mahal. Mehtab Bagh is the perfect place for breathtaking sunset views.

Day 4: Stop by the Taj Mahal & Travel to Jaipur

If you were unable to explore the Taj Mahal the last evening properly, visit the landmark early in the morning the next day. 

Morning

Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise and then have a delicious local breakfast. After that, head over to Jaipur. This beautiful city is approximately a five-hour drive away from Agra. 

Afternoon

During your journey, stop at Fatehpur Sikri. The red sandstone architecture here is truly a sight to behold. 

Evening

By the evening, you will arrive at Jaipur. Check into your hotel and relax. You can also go for a quick walk nearby.

Taj Mahal, Agra

Day 5: Explore the Pink City

Jaipur is known as the Pink City because of its spectacular landmarks. This is the city of vibrant bazaars, palaces, and forts. 

Morning

Start your day at the Amber Fort. It is a beautiful hilltop fortress from where you get the most stunning views of the city. 

Afternoon

Jaipur is home to many Instagrammable places. So, if you want to take some stunning photos, visit the Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal. Also, visit the City Palace, where you will still find the royal family. Jantar Mantar Observatory is another great heritage site to visit in the city. 

Evening

There is no better time than the evenings to explore Johari Bazaar and the Bapu Bazaar. Here you can shop for handicrafts, jewellery, and textiles.

Pink City Jaipur

Day 6: More of Jaipur

This day should be all about exploring more of Jaipur at a relaxed pace. 

Morning

Head over to the Nahargarh Fort, which is not only a beautiful architectural marvel but also provides stunning views of the city. 

Afternoon

If you are a fan of art and history, you should visit the Albert Hall Museum. This is the perfect place to witness the royal art collections of Jaipur. 

Evening

Spend the evening relaxing in Central Park. If you want to explore more of the city’s history and heritage, you can also take a heritage walk through Jaipur’s old lanes.

Day 7: Return to Delhi

Evening
